Fix 20mm spacers to PCB before mounting in the box (box will spring to allow assembly) In the previous version fixed caps at C1/C2 of 22p, usaully ran the timer maginally fast (approx 2/3 secs over 4+ hours) - not a big problem if all the TXs are the same. To adjust the timer XTAL, C1 is now a miniture 50pf variable cap. C2 may be lowered to 15p if required The most effective way to adjust a 5Tx set is to zero beat each timing xtal with a master TX. Run the Txs in wait mode (so the TXa are not actually transmitting!) Use fingers on the xtal case and the xtal signal is more easily audible on a cheap scanning receiver. If you align the timing xtal in this way the TXs will keep in sync. with each other - perfectly- over 24hrs or more. Check the xtals start ok after the adjustment. Too little capacitance at C1, can prevent a reliable xtal start.
